Today I am announcing that I suspending my exploratory run for United States Senate, for the seat held by Senator Gillibrand. It is my belief that Senator Gillibrand can be defeated by a constitutionally grounded conservative Republican.

It is also my hope that someone from the vast grassroots Conservative Tea Party movement, will emerge to capture the hearts and minds of New Yorkers as well as the United States senate seat.

Never has there been an opportunity in our lifetime when the People have been so adamant about regaining control of their rogue governments. This Senate seat is for us to reclaim, and it can be done. As the saying goes, success happens when opportunity meets preparation. Unfortunately at this time I do not feel I will have the required organizational resources to adequately take on this crucial challenge.

The extraordinary support and enthusiasm I have personally witnessed during my brief run, confirms to me the hunger and passion that exists on the part of Americans to return to an accountable government that derives it’s just power only through the consent of the governed.

As Thomas Jefferson noted, the natural predisposition of society is for Liberty to yield to government. Government by definition will always want to govern. Therefore to preserve our Freedom we will forever have to be vigilant. In the words of Thomas Paine,"Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom, must, like men, undergo the fatigues of supporting it."

There will be future battles that lie ahead and I look forward to chance to have the preparation in place, when the proper opportunity presents itself.

Meanwhile during the next year I will dedicate my efforts to support conservative candidates that will reign in the next generation of public servants.
